Wiggly Hawthorne

This eating spoon is carved from a naturally curved piece of hawthorn — twisty and full of character. The handle follows the natural wiggle of the branch, giving the spoon a subtle movement and a shape that feels just so good in the hand

The bowl has one of my slightly square forms. It’s a shape that feels deliberate in the hand and works well at the table.

Carved by hand with axe and knife. Each one is different, and this one leans a little — in the best way.

Oiled with Hassui ceramic oil ( food safe )
