Ebonised hawthorne

This eating spoon is hand-carved from hawthorn and ebonised to a deep, matte black. The form is simple and balanced, with a slight aysmetrical  bowl.

On the back of the bowl, subtle knife marks remain — a quiet trace of the carving process, left intentionally. They catch the light just enough to remind you it was made by hand.

The hawthorn is dense and fine-grained, giving the spoon a solid, smooth feel in use.
