This eating spoon is carved from a naturally bent branch of alder. The natural curve of the branch gives the spoon a flowing sweep from handle to bowl.
The handle curves smoothly into the bowl, making it comfortable to hold and easy to use. Carved entirely by hand with axe and knife, then finished with food-safe tung oil for protection in use
The result is a light, balanced spoon with a bit of movement and character — shaped by the tree, not just the tools.
